Today I sat down with Chad George (UTV #642 & SuperLite #42) and I asked him a few questions about his current racing, and his future with racing.
Q: How did you do at the last Glen Helen Lucas Oil race?
A: We felt really confident in the Kawasaki Monster Energy Teryx. We ran top qualifier in both the Teryx and the truck (SuperLite). And I knew I had what it took to go out there and win. That’s all it came down to.
Q: How is your driving style?
A: The days of waiting to pass are over for me, if I have to bang bars, I’m going to bang bars. That’s what it comes down to.
Q: How long have you been racing?
A : I have been in the UTV for 6 years now, and this is my second year in the SuperLite, but I’ve raced almost everything. I grew up riding quads and dirt bikes and Sand Cars so driving is first nature for me, it’s natural.
Q: What are your plans for the future in regards to racing?
A: I’m on the five year plan. In five years I plan on being in a Pro truck, I just need the face time and sponsors to get me there. After this season I will be stepping out of the Teryx and Taylor George will be taking over so I will be strictly SuperLite in the 2012 season.
